As a every day reader of science, I hardly read of any science. If it is there at all, it is found tucked in any corner of the paper. Today our generation is going away from science too. They are not keenly interested in science.

Media channels are not playing role in spreading understanding of science. It gives full news on the games, crimes and other activities like elections, any ill activity. It gives the complete understanding of this all. But when comes the talk of science, this is silent. We have some channels related to the science like the national geographic, history channel, animal planet, discovery channel and so on. These channels are very good source of data relating to the science and technology. But here comes the troubles once again. Everybody doesnt watch them.

A men and women would like to watch sports rather then to watch these channnels. He would like to watch to news of terrorist attack on any place rather than to watch the dull programs on these channels. Only intrested persons and the students of science.

Besides this all our news papers are too far behind. A daily news paper has pages on diverse topics But on the scince, theres not such a page. Either it might be identified in any corner of the newpaper. Every day news papers are full of news related to crime, sports and so on then the science.

On other hand, politics is the other striking concern. Whenever there is any election, media channels telecast it  whole day. Even any political activity, they make it the huge bang.

Media, both print and visual, can do their greatest in this concern. Only this is the source of lengthy communication.

Our news channels ought to begin some hourly programs on Scince. They really should show the past, present and the future of Indian scince. So our news papers too.

If we ask a prirmary boy that who is the captian of Indian cricket team? He would surely, but if we ask any student about the recent noble prize winner of India, he is unable to reply. Since he reads the every day newspaper and the news channels. And this media is giving significance to the crime and games.
